Hawaii Licensed Loan Officer

Job Summary

To support a high-performing sales team, the full-time Hawaii Licensed Loan Officer will handle 100% inbound leads from motivated homebuyers, consult on mortgage needs, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely loan closings in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound calls and digital leads from qualified home shoppers
• Consult with borrowers to understand their financial goals and recommend appropriate loan solutions
• Guide borrowers through the mortgage application process from pre-qualification to closing

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time purchase or refinance loan origination experience, preferably in a call center environment
• Current NMLS license, having passed the national test and completed a 20-hour licensing course
• Complete knowledge of conventional and government loan programs (purchase and refinance)
• Strong desire to succeed in a sales environment and be a top producer
• Ability to accurately structure and price loans
