Hawaii Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time, remote Hawaii Licensed Nurse Practitioner with independent practice authority to conduct telehealth evaluations, prescribe GLP-1 medications for weight management, and collaborate with a Registered Dietitian team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous telehealth evaluations for GLP-1 patients, assessing eligibility and treatment goals
• Prescribe and titrate FDA-approved GLP-1 medications under independent prescriptive authority
• Manage follow-up visits and documentation, including Letters of Medical Necessity for prior authorization submissions

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license with current ANCC or AANP board certification
• Licenses in a minimum of 30 U.S. states, with preference for those granting full independent practice authority
• Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in managing obesity or related conditions
• Experience in a fully remote clinical environment and proficiency in EHR platforms
• Active NPI and malpractice insurance covering telehealth encounters
