Hawaii Licensed Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to support a fast-paced business environment in a fully remote capacity for candidates residing in Hawaii.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations while managing accounts payable and receivable processes
• Assist with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and provide support for audits and various accounting projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a staff accountant or similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote work environment and manage time effectively
