Hazardous Materials Manager
Job Summary
Dedicated to providing senior management oversight, the full-time Hazardous Materials Manager will manage and improve a client's enterprise-wide Hazardous Materials and Regulated Waste database, ensuring effective tracking and compliance across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities
- Mentor HazTrax personnel and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team
- Lead responses to emergent HazTrax system issues and update guidance documentation as needed
- Support the transition and rollout of HazTrax mobile scanners, including testing, validation, and training execution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in hazardous materials management
- Familiarity with database management and regulatory compliance
- Basic technical skillset in Industrial Hygiene is desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage projects within budget and timeframe
