HCC Coding Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an HCC Coding Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality reviews on internal and subcontracted HCC coders and OP CDI using risk adjustment coding and HEDIS expertise
• Provide training and feedback to HCC coders and OP CDI based on audit findings and compliance assessments
• Identify trends in documentation gaps and create training programs to improve HCC capture and quality measures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required, RN or RHIA
• Coding credential of CCS or CRC required
• 2-5 years of experience in auditing HCCs or outpatient CDI
• Experience with Microsoft Office including 365, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• 3 years of experience in auditing an ambulatory clinic setting with knowledge of ICD-10-CM, HCC, and CPT/HCPCS coding requirements
