HCC Coding Team Lead

Job Summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a Coding Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 5+ coders, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
• Coach team members to meet appropriate QA and quantity metrics
• Conduct QA audits to ensure accuracy and compliance

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• AHIMA certified credentials (RHIA, RHIT, CCS) or AAPC certified credentials (CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC, or CRC)
• Minimum 5 years of coding experience
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-9/10 coding
• Familiarity with HCC coding
