HCC Coding Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Team Lead, HCC Risk Adjustment Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Coding Supervisors in monitoring coders' quality and efficiency
• Review coder rebuttals and provide education or process them as needed
• Track audits and provide timely feedback to coders while assisting with quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• AHIMA (CCS, CCS-P) or AAPC (CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC, CRC) certified credentials
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10
• 2 years of HCC coding experience
• 1+ years of Team Lead experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, and disease processes
