HCC Coding Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Team Lead, HCC Risk Adjustment Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Coding Supervisors in monitoring coders' quality and efficiency
• Provide education and feedback to coders regarding coding errors and rebuttals
• Track coder performance metrics and assist in quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC certified credentials (CCS, CCS-P, CPC, etc.)
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10
• 2 years of HCC coding experience
• 1+ years of Team Lead experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, and disease processes
