HCC Coding Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Team Lead, HCC Risk Adjustment Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Coding Supervisors in monitoring coders' quality and efficiency
• Review rebuttals and provide education or process rebuttals as necessary
• Track audits and assist new hires, conducting one-on-one sessions focused on quality improvement

Required Qualifications

• AHIMA certified credentials (CCS, CCS-P) or AAPC certified credentials (CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC, CRC)
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10
• 2 years of HCC coding experience
• 1+ years of Team Lead experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and disease processes
