Job Summary

Leading a small team within the General Ledger Accounting department, the full-time Head Accountant, Finland Licensed, will manage month-end closing processes, ensure financial accuracy, and oversee bank statement processing while contributing to the development of accounting functions in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and participate in the month-end closing process and ensure quality financial accounting
• Oversee processing of bank statements, payment processes, payroll bookings, and intercompany transactions
• Manage accounting-related projects aimed at improving reporting timelines and control environments

Required qualifications

• Suitable degree in accounting
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting
• Advanced understanding of FAS accounting standards and statutory reporting
• Previous team lead experience
• Fluency in Finnish and English
