Head of AI Operations

Job Summary

To support enterprise AI initiatives, the contract Head of AI Operations will manage operational strategy, governance, and lifecycle administration of AI platforms in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the operational strategy and governance for enterprise AI platforms, ensuring secure and scalable production environments
• Oversee the lifecycle management of AI applications, including monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks, including policies and compliance requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in platform operations, DevOps, or AI/ML operations
• Experience supporting production AI platforms or enterprise software environments
• Strong understanding of AI governance, security, compliance, and risk management
• Hands-on knowledge of monitoring, incident management, and operational support processes
