Head of AI Operations

Job Summary

Owning the critical infrastructure for AI operations, the full-time Head of AI Operations will manage pipelines, model versioning, and cost controls while driving internal AI adoption across teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the AI platform, including pipelines, model and prompt versioning, and monitoring
• Establish standards for evaluating AI features before and after launch to ensure effectiveness
• Drive internal adoption of AI tools and workflows, enhancing collaboration across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Support teams

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in ML/AI engineering, data platforms, or AI operations with hands-on ownership of production systems
• Proven experience in managing AI or ML systems in production, including evaluation and incident response
• Familiarity with modern LLM tooling and understanding of cost, latency, and output variability
• Demonstrated ability to drive internal AI adoption and change management
• Strong judgment in making build-vs-buy decisions with limited information
