Head of Authorizations Operations

Job Summary

Seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Authorizations Operations, the full-time remote leader will manage the Prior Authorizations product lifecycle, drive revenue growth, expand payor coverage, and oversee operations to enhance post-acute care transitions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for PAC Prior Auths to increase coverage and utilization
• Direct operations teams to scale prior authorization processes while reducing costs and improving efficiency
• Negotiate partnerships with payors and clearinghouses to enhance authorization coverage and drive commercial outcomes

Required qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in Product Management, Strategy & Operations, or Management Consulting
• Proven track record of owning outcomes and leading negotiations with external partners
• Strong product mindset with experience in improving systems and workflows
• Fluency with AI tools and their application in product and operations
• Healthcare experience in prior authorizations, utilization management, or revenue cycle is a plus
