Head of Banking Operations

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end operations of banking functions, the full-time remote Head of Banking Operations will manage bank partner relationships, oversee the P&L for banking services, and drive operational improvements to enhance user engagement and financial efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with bank partners, supporting negotiations and evaluating new partnerships
• Oversee the operational health of money movement processes, focusing on cost reduction and reliability
• Develop and implement operational playbooks for managing disputes, suspensions, and support functions

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in banking operations, treasury operations, or payments operations in a tech or financial services environment
• Proven experience managing a P&L or significant budget with accountability for financial targets
• Direct experience negotiating with and managing banking or BaaS partners
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, Product, and Engineering
• Experience in scaling operations from manual processes to well-controlled functions
