Head of Biostatistics

Job Summary

Leading the biostatistics function, the full-time Head of Biostatistics will develop and execute strategic initiatives, provide oversight for biostatistics operations, and partner with cross-functional teams, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the biostatistics strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry advancements
• Provide leadership for biostatistics operations, including resource planning, project delivery, and quality management
• Serve as a senior client contact, supporting strategic partnerships and representing the organization at industry events

Required qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline
• 15+ years of progressive biostatistics experience within CROs, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical organizations
• Demonstrated experience leading biostatistics teams and overseeing complex clinical development programs
• Strong operational leadership skills with experience managing resources and budgets
• Deep understanding of clinical research, drug development, and regulatory requirements
