Head of Business Lending

Job Summary

To lead the development of a thriving lending business, the full-time Head of Business Lending will define product strategy, manage a team of product managers and lending specialists, and drive growth while overseeing business performance and P&L outcomes, with the option to work remotely or from specific locations in the U.S. and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Own the business lending P&L and strategy, setting multi-year plans for product development and growth
• Build and scale the lending organization by recruiting and leading a high-performing team of product managers
• Launch and grow lending products while establishing a robust experimentation loop for post-launch growth

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in lending or credit products, particularly in SMB, commercial, or business lending
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams of product managers, including hiring and performance management
• Deep understanding of the full lending lifecycle, including eligibility, underwriting, and servicing
• Proven track record of owning a lending P&L and managing its key levers
• Experience launching and scaling lending products in a fintech or high-growth environment
