Job Summary

To shape the claims strategy of a growing specialty insurance organization, the full-time Head of Claims will oversee claims governance, operational performance, and technology initiatives while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall claims strategy in alignment with corporate objectives
• Establish performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness
• Oversee claims performance across third-party administrators and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of claims experience in specialty insurance or related sectors
• Proven leadership experience managing claims operations and external claims partners
• Strong understanding of claims governance, reserving oversight, and outsourced claims models
• Experience utilizing data and analytics to identify trends and performance opportunities
• Demonstrated ability to manage and influence external partners while maintaining productive relationships
