Head of Community Management

Job Summary

To build and lead a strategy that fosters authentic relationships with online communities, the full-time Head of Community Management will develop community management strategies, set interaction guidelines, and lead a team of community managers in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the community management strategy across all digital platforms
• Set guidelines and tone-of-voice standards for community interactions
• Lead a team of community managers, providing direction and performance feedback

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in community management or social media strategy
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale engaged online communities
• Strong understanding of community platforms such as Discord, Reddit, and Facebook Groups
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing community teams
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a deep understanding of online community dynamics
