Head of Data

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Data to lead and advance its data strategy and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the data vision and roadmap across analytics, infrastructure, governance, and personalization
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to translate high-leverage questions into measurable metrics and guide decision-making
• Lead and mentor a small team while managing the end-to-end analytics lifecycle, including metric definition and data quality

Required Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in data-focused roles in analytics and/or data engineering, preferably in high-growth startups or fintech
• Proven ability to operate as a senior individual contributor while leading a small team
• Deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, and analytics best practices
• Strong experience with data pipelines and warehousing solutions, including AWS-based infrastructure
• Comfort in ambiguity and a strong product and business mindset focused on impact
