Head of Data

Job Summary

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the full-time remote Head of Data will establish and execute the enterprise data strategy, overseeing data engineering, analytics, and governance to ensure high-quality data that supports operational excellence and AI/ML capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a multi-year enterprise data strategy aligned with business and technology objectives
• Oversee modern data platform architecture and ensure compliance with data governance and security standards
• Build and develop a high-performing team across data engineering, analytics, governance, and architecture

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of ten years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data architecture
• Proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary data teams
• Expertise in modern cloud data ecosystems such as Databricks and Snowflake
• Understanding of governance, security, compliance, and high-trust data principles
