Job Summary

Head of Data Engineering, this is a full-time remote position requiring overlap with Australian business hours, focused on hands-on technical leadership, client engagement, and team management in data engineering and AI-enabled systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement modern data architectures and pipelines
• Lead client engagements and translate technical concepts into business language
• Mentor a distributed technical team and establish scalable delivery processes

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or related fields
• Strong hands-on engineering background with experience in data pipelines and CDPs
• Experience in client-facing roles within consulting or multi-client environments
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern data stack technologies
• Comfortable working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
