Head of Data Science

Job Summary

Head of Data Science, responsible for providing executive leadership in data science strategy and operations within a remote Contract Research Organization, overseeing clinical data science functions and full Profit and Loss accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide leadership for data science across clinical development programs
• Own full Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility, including budgeting and financial performance
• Oversee clinical trial design and execution from a data science perspective

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in data science within a Contract Research Organization (CRO)
• Recent, hands-on CRO experience supporting clinical trial design and development
• Proven executive-level ownership of Profit and Loss (P&L)
• Deep expertise in clinical data science and advanced analytics
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements governing clinical data
