Head of Data Science

Job Summary

Leading the research agenda for fraud insights, the full-time Head of Data Science will manage a team to develop analytical frameworks, extract intelligence from a global identity graph, and influence product strategy, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own the research agenda by designing studies that address fraud identification and causal inference
• Turn the identity graph into intelligence by identifying fraud rings and emerging attack typologies
• Bridge external regulatory signals with internal models to inform product and strategy decisions

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD preferred) in Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
• 10+ years of experience in data science, fraud analytics, or quantitative economics
• Proven expertise in fraud, identity risk, or financial crime domains
• Strong command of causal inference and statistical modeling techniques
• Track record of external thought leadership and public representation in the fraud and identity space
