Head of Endpoint Defense

Job Summary

Leading the endpoint defense function, the full-time Head of Endpoint Defense will manage operations, policy, and health for a multi-vendor endpoint detection and response estate, ensuring effective prevention, detection, and telemetry quality while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Own operations and policy for endpoint defense tools, including Cortex XDR and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• Drive agent coverage and configuration integrity across the managed fleet, ensuring visibility and reducing operational gaps
• Establish and report on endpoint security KPIs to enhance operational effectiveness and team performance

Required Qualifications

• Mastery of security tools and technologies, including endpoint security and SIEM solutions
• Deep understanding of operating systems such as Windows and Linux, along with their security mechanisms
• Knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements, including ISO 27001 and NIST
• Experience with the design and implementation of security architectures and zero trust frameworks
• Ability to assess and follow best practices in technology deployment and configuration
