Head of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a talented cross-functional team, the full-time Head of Engineering will define and execute the web development strategy, manage enterprise-scale projects, and serve as the senior technical lead for client engagements, with options for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and mentor tech leads and senior developers while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Define the web development strategy and architectural roadmap, leveraging AI tools throughout the development lifecycle
• Serve as the senior technical lead in client engagements, translating complex technical decisions for non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in web development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing enterprise-scale platforms
• Experience managing developers across various levels, including distributed team structures
• Strong command of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js)
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale digital projects on time and within budget
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical complexity for diverse audiences
