Head of Engineering

Job Summary

Seeking a visionary Head of Engineering, the full-time remote role will lead and mentor a growing engineering team primarily based in Latin America, drive architectural direction, and implement intelligent automation in a fast-paced health tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap in collaboration with product and executive leadership, setting the vision for engineering culture and delivery standards
• Lead and develop a 30+ person engineering team, fostering a culture of learning and accountability while managing performance evaluations
• Oversee the architecture and execution of scalable systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and driving innovation through AI automation

Required qualifications

• 10-15+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in senior engineering leadership roles
• Experience building and scaling engineering teams in high-growth startup environments, preferably in SaaS
• Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with the .NET stack, including ASP.NET Core, C#, and SQL Server
• Proven success in scaling teams and systems during significant growth phases in startup environments
• Background in healthcare technology, especially SaaS products, with experience in ERP implementation and AI/ML integrations
