Head of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a high-impact engineering team, the full-time Head of Engineering will own the technical AI strategy, guide the implementation of AI capabilities, and ensure platform reliability while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Own platform architecture decisions and establish technical standards to support long-term growth
• Lead CI/CD pipelines and engineering operations, ensuring platform reliability and operational excellence
• Manage and develop internal and nearshore engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 4+ years in leadership roles
• Experience managing nearshore and/or contract engineering teams and vendor relationships
• Proven ability to deliver AI-enabled products into production, ideally leveraging modern AI engineering patterns
• Demonstrated experience partnering with product leaders to deliver customer-facing technology solutions
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive progress in resource-constrained environments
