Head of Finance

Job Summary

To support the financial operations of a growing tech company, the remote Head of Finance will create and manage processes for accounting, budgeting, investor reporting, and sales compensation while collaborating with product and marketing teams on pricing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Run monthly/quarterly financial close, consolidations, and reconciliations, delivering accurate reports for investors and the board
• Establish quarterly budgets and drive rolling forecasts while monitoring plan versus actual performance
• Define and maintain quote-to-cash processes, including invoicing, collections, and cash application, while reducing days sales outstanding (DSO)

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in SaaS finance/accounting with ownership of end-to-end quote-to-cash and revenue recognition processes
• Experience in building and managing Deal Desk and sales compensation programs
• Strong ability to write processes and policies, effectively operating across Product and Go-To-Market teams
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Demonstrated success in improving close times, forecasting accuracy, and DSO metrics
