Head of Global Payroll

Job Summary

Leading payroll operations for a complex workforce, the full-time Head of Global Payroll will manage payroll processing for approximately 1,600 U.S. and Canadian employees, ensuring compliance and accuracy while working remotely from the eastern or central time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. and Canadian employees, including those with variable compensation structures
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international payroll regulations while serving as the internal payroll subject matter expert
• Support month-end close processes and collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and HR teams on payroll operations

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of payroll experience, including leadership in a public company or complex environment
• Proven experience managing payroll for large employee populations with variable compensation
• Extensive experience with UKG and strong knowledge of multi-state U.S. payroll regulations
• Working knowledge of Canadian and European payroll requirements
• Experience leading payroll teams and supporting month-end close processes
