Job Summary
Leading government engagement efforts, the full-time Head of Government Relations will build and execute strategies to foster a positive regulatory environment for tokenization in financial markets, while managing relationships with regulators and policymakers remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build and execute government relations strategy focused on key regulatory bodies and Congressional committees
- Cultivate and manage relationships with regulators, legislative staff, and industry stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze regulatory developments, advising leadership on risks and opportunities
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in government relations, public policy, or regulatory affairs, particularly in financial services or fintech
- Established relationships with senior staff at the SEC, CFTC, Treasury, or relevant Congressional offices
- Strong understanding of U.S. securities law and emerging digital asset regulations
- Proven track record of educating and influencing policymakers on financial technologies
- Experience in building or leading a government relations function and managing external counsel
