Head of Government Relations

Job Summary

Leading government engagement efforts, the full-time Head of Government Relations will build and execute strategies to foster a positive regulatory environment for tokenization in financial markets, while managing relationships with regulators and policymakers remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute government relations strategy focused on key regulatory bodies and Congressional committees
• Cultivate and manage relationships with regulators, legislative staff, and industry stakeholders
• Monitor and analyze regulatory developments, advising leadership on risks and opportunities

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in government relations, public policy, or regulatory affairs, particularly in financial services or fintech
• Established relationships with senior staff at the SEC, CFTC, Treasury, or relevant Congressional offices
• Strong understanding of U.S. securities law and emerging digital asset regulations
• Proven track record of educating and influencing policymakers on financial technologies
• Experience in building or leading a government relations function and managing external counsel
