Job Summary
To support the African Leadership Group's next phase of growth, the full-time remote Head of Impact will build a rigorous and scalable impact engine, leading the evolution of impact methodologies, external validation, and data quality systems to enhance decision-making and donor confidence in education and workforce development.
Key responsibilities
- Build the trust infrastructure and methodologies for credible impact claims, ensuring alignment across teams
- Design and lead a rigorous research and evaluation agenda, incorporating various evaluation methods and external validation partnerships
- Develop donor-facing collateral and thought leadership materials that translate impact data into actionable insights for organizational improvement
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in impact evaluation, applied research, or related fields
- Deep expertise in rigorous impact methodologies, including RCTs and causal inference
- Experience managing or partnering on external evaluations with academic or research organizations
- Strong understanding of workforce development and economic mobility
- Proven ability to lead teams and operate effectively in fast-moving environments
