Head of Information Security

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Information Security who will shape and lead their security strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the overall security posture, ensuring transparency of security risks through measurable KPIs
• Define and evolve the information security strategy in alignment with business objectives and integrate security into software development processes
• Establish security standards and provide risk-based guidance to support prioritization of security initiatives and compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in Information Security or closely related fields
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience working with software development organizations and understanding modern application operations
• Proven background in Information Security or Security Engineering, ideally in cloud-based or SaaS environments
• Familiarity with security standards such as PCI-DSS and SOC 2, with experience handling sensitive data being a strong advantage
