Head of Infrastructure and Security

Job Summary

Seeking a technically strong and strategically minded Head of Infrastructure and Security, the full-time remote position will manage global infrastructure, reliability, and security functions, focusing on establishing enterprise-grade systems to support organizational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce cloud architecture strategy across engineering teams, ensuring consistent best practices and IaC tooling
• Own the end-to-end security posture, including compliance with standards such as SOC 2 and implementing Zero Trust architecture
• Build and lead a global Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) organization, establishing incident response and disaster recovery programs

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
• Deep expertise in AWS and meaningful exposure to Azure, with strong security fundamentals including IAM and Zero Trust
• Experience designing SLO frameworks and managing global, distributed engineering teams across time zones
• Hands-on experience with incident response and business continuity programs
• Startup or high-growth company experience, with a track record of cloud cost reduction through FinOps practices
