Job Summary

Leading the strategy and operational performance of insurance programs, the full-time Head of Insurance Programs will oversee product management, underwriting, and carrier partnerships while driving innovation and collaboration in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Insurance Product Management and Underwriting, fostering a high-performing culture
• Own the performance of the insurance portfolio, balancing growth, profitability, and customer experience while driving continuous improvement
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with carrier partners, collaborating on product strategy and operational performance

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in insurance product management, underwriting, or related disciplines
• Deep knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to build strategic partnerships with carriers and manage product development
• Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams on technology-enabled insurance solutions
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence across organizations and lead through ambiguity
