Head of IT Security Engineering

Job Summary

Owning and evolving the internal technology ecosystem, the full-time Head of IT Security Engineering will design and operate a scalable, secure, and automated IT environment remotely, overseeing identity and access management, device security, and compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and manage centralized identity and access management across all systems, ensuring compliance with ISO controls
• Oversee internal IT infrastructure and cloud environments, partnering with Engineering/DevOps for secure configurations
• Implement integrations and automation across core business systems to eliminate manual workflows and enhance operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in IT, Security Engineering, or Infrastructure roles with experience in a cloud-first, SaaS environment
• Hands-on experience with identity and access management solutions such as Okta or Azure AD
• Familiarity with mobile device management solutions like Intune or Jamf
• Strong understanding of endpoint security, access control, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001
• Experience with security tooling including EDR and SIEM platforms
