Head of Launch for Africa

Job Summary

Leading the expansion efforts in Africa, the full-time Head of Launch for Africa will manage regulatory strategies, market entry initiatives, and stakeholder engagement to secure partnerships and ensure successful deployment of SmartMast technology in diverse maritime environments, all while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with national maritime authorities and regional bodies to navigate regulatory landscapes
• Develop scalable market entry strategies and establish logistics frameworks for SmartMast hardware deployment
• Identify and onboard local partners and vendors, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards during operational integration

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in senior operations, market launch, business development, or public policy roles, preferably in maritime or logistics sectors
• Deep understanding of Africa's political, regulatory, and business environments
• Proven experience in navigating government relationships and public-private partnerships
• Demonstrated success in closing complex B2B partnerships in emerging markets
• Fluency in English; professional proficiency in French, Arabic, Portuguese, or Swahili is preferred
