Head of Legal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Legal to build and oversee its legal function.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage commercial contracts, including negotiation and structuring of agreements
• Lead corporate governance and fundraising legal workstreams, ensuring compliance and documentation
• Develop and implement the IP and open-source legal strategy, including licensing and governance

Required Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of legal experience, with a mix of top-tier firm and in-house experience
• Strong background in commercial contracts and enterprise agreements
• Familiarity with consumption-based business models and related contract structures
• Experience managing outside counsel and building legal infrastructure
• Ability to operate under uncertainty and engage with senior stakeholders
