Head of Legal

Job Summary

To lead legal operations in a fast-paced startup environment, the full-time Head of Legal will manage commercial contracting, compliance, and corporate governance while working remotely across various states.

Key responsibilities:

• Own legal review and negotiation for various agreements, partnering with multiple teams to facilitate deals
• Develop and maintain Levanta's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and internal policies to support compliance and platform expansion
• Advise on international expansion and manage corporate governance, ensuring legal risk is efficiently handled across the business

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of legal experience, preferably in both top-tier law firms and in-house technology companies
• Significant experience with SaaS, marketplace, or platform businesses
• Strong commercial contracting experience, including enterprise SaaS and partnership agreements
• Experience supporting international expansion and complex employment structures
• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
