Head of Legal

Job Summary

Seeking a founding Head of Legal, the full-time remote position will manage commercial, corporate, and healthcare regulatory matters while building the legal function from the ground up to support growth and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with teams across the company on a wide range of legal questions to facilitate swift and thoughtful business operations
• Lead commercial legal work, including drafting and negotiating customer, vendor, and partner agreements
• Establish scalable legal and compliance processes to support growth and oversee key healthcare regulatory areas

Required qualifications

• Experience at a top-tier law firm, preferably in a corporate practice
• Deep knowledge of healthcare law, either as counsel to healthtech companies or in-house at a healthcare organization
• A practical, business-minded approach to legal work with strong judgment
• Ability to manage complex legal matters independently and drive workstreams forward
• Excitement about building legal systems and processes from the ground up
