Head of ML Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of ML & Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of MLOps Engineers, Data Engineers, and ML Engineers
• Define technical vision and drive architectural decisions for ML infrastructure and data pipelines
• Own planning, prioritization, and delivery of ML infrastructure initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams, preferably in ML/MLOps or data engineering
• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in ML infrastructure or data engineering
• Strong experience with MLOps tools and building scalable data pipelines
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in cloud platforms like AWS
• Understanding of recommendation systems and experience with data governance and privacy regulations
