Head of Onboarding Operations

Job Summary

Leading a global team, the full-time Head of Onboarding and FinCrime Operations will define procedures and ensure operational excellence in client onboarding and financial crime operations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and execution for Onboarding and FinCrime Operations
• Build and develop a high-performing, globally distributed team while managing capacity to reflect business growth
• Drive continuous improvement in procedures, playbooks, and control frameworks aligned with financial crime and fraud policies

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in senior leadership roles within large-scale, multi-jurisdiction operations in regulated financial services or fintech
• Deep knowledge of AML/CTF, sanctions, KYC, and transaction monitoring processes
• Track record of scaling FinCrime and/or Onboarding Operations across multiple product lines and geographies
• Experience delivering automation/AI-led transformation in an operations setting
• Strong commercial and analytical judgment with a focus on unit economics and scalability
