Head of People

Job Summary

To support a growing organization, the full-time salaried Head of People will build and lead the people function remotely, focusing on recruiting, employee development, and performance management while partnering with the executive team to align talent strategies with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the company's people strategy in partnership with the Co-Founders and executive team
• Own recruiting and hiring processes, including workforce planning and onboarding
• Build and evolve performance management and employee development practices

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in People, HR, talent, or organizational leadership
• Experience in building a people function within a high-growth organization
• Strong recruiting experience for leadership and specialized roles
• Broad knowledge of performance management, employee relations, and HR operations
• Experience supporting a distributed or multistate workforce preferred
