Job Summary

To support a growing pediatric specialty care company, the full-time Head of People and Talent will build the People and Talent function, focusing on talent acquisition, organizational design, and culture while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle for clinical and corporate roles, achieving time-to-hire targets and high candidate acceptance rates
  • Develop and implement the "People playbook" for multi-state expansion, ensuring compliance with employment laws and credentialing processes
  • Partner with leadership on organizational design and performance management, driving employee engagement and retention initiatives
Required qualifications
  • 7-12 years of People/HR leadership experience, specifically in scaling organizations from 30 to 150+ FTE
  • Direct experience in hiring clinicians across multiple states, particularly in Medicaid/managed care or pediatrics
  • Proven ability to operate as a player-coach, managing both recruitment and strategic initiatives
  • Deep understanding of multi-state employment laws, especially in California and Texas
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build strategy and communicate effectively at senior levels
