Head of Privacy Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Privacy to establish and lead its enterprise-wide privacy program.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise privacy program and serve as the company's Privacy Officer
• Lead compliance with HIPAA and state privacy regulations, and develop privacy policies and training
• Oversee privacy risk assessments and incident response processes, ensuring sustained compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, compliance, information security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7-10 years of experience in privacy, compliance, or program management roles
• Deep understanding of HIPAA, state privacy laws, and privacy operations
• Experience in building or leading an enterprise privacy program in healthcare or SaaS
• Strong program management skills and ability to manage cross-functional initiatives
