Head of Product Security

Job Summary

Leading a team of security professionals, the full-time Head of Product Security will shape the security posture of the organization by collaborating with product teams and infrastructure organizations to enhance the security of both Data Center and Cloud products in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive product security strategy that aligns with strategic objectives and exceeds customer expectations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define security controls and ensure their implementation in engineering processes
• Partner with product development teams to embed security best practices throughout the development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of security leadership experience in a technology-centric company, including managing security teams
• Expertise in threat modeling frameworks and risk assessment principles
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HIPAA
• Proven ability to design and deploy security controls across various domains, including cloud infrastructures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and collaborate across teams
