Head of Product Security Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a team of product security engineers, the remote Head of Product Security Engineering will manage hiring, development, and delivery of security services while engaging in hands-on technical work approximately 20-25% of the time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the hiring, onboarding, coaching, and development of PSC Engineers, ensuring they become technical owners of customer accounts
• Oversee the execution of engagements, including technical scoping, staffing, deliverable review, and maintaining quality standards
• Manage team capacity and utilization, balancing billable work with capability development and operationalizing managed services

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct people management experience, including hiring and developing engineers
• 8+ years in product security, embedded and connected device security, or offensive security, with customer-facing service experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or a related field
• Hands-on expertise in firmware analysis, penetration testing, threat modeling, and vulnerability disclosure workflows
• Familiarity with the EU Cyber Resilience Act and relevant compliance standards, such as IEC 62443 or NIST SSDF
