Head of Quality Assurance

Job Summary

Leading a dynamic team, the full-time remote Head of Quality Assurance will own the quality strategy, manage test automation infrastructure, and oversee release governance across multiple product lines, ensuring quality is integrated throughout the development process.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of approximately 7 QA engineers to conduct manual and automated testing across 3+ product lines
• Implement and scale AI-driven testing platforms to automate over 70% of mechanical testing
• Define and execute a modern quality engineering vision aligned with a continuous deployment (CI/CD) approach

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or software engineering
• 3+ years of experience leading and developing distributed QA teams across multiple products
• Demonstrated experience in building and scaling a Quality Engineering function, including strategy and tooling
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or relevant experience
• Deep proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, with expertise in modern frameworks like Playwright
