Head of Risk Management

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Risk to lead the Risk team and manage risk frameworks in DeFi.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and build the Risk team, setting direction, priorities, and standards
• Own and evolve risk management frameworks and policies while coordinating with external risk service providers
• Approve collateral onboarding decisions and monitor liquidation performance, driving risk governance processes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in risk management, preferably in DeFi or crypto
• Proven experience leading and managing a risk team
• Deep understanding of the Aave Protocol and its risk dynamics
• Strong grasp of market structure and portfolio risk management
• Experience managing external risk service providers
