Job Summary
Leading non-customer-facing operations, the full-time salaried Head of Risk Operations will manage fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and back-office compliance while overseeing a team and enhancing automation strategies in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all non-customer-facing operations, including fraud prevention and dispute resolution, ensuring efficiency across 30+ workloads
- Set goals, SLAs, and quality standards for the function, maintaining alignment and early risk identification through regular operational meetings
- Drive the automation strategy to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual review workloads while ensuring regulatory compliance
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in fraud, disputes, and risk operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing teams
- Strong knowledge of consumer protection regulations, including FCRA, Reg Z, and Reg E
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale operations through process improvement and automation
- Familiarity with various fraud typologies and comfort operating on data, including SQL/BI outputs
- Proven experience collaborating with Compliance, Legal, Product, and Engineering teams, effectively communicating risk to executives
