Job Summary
Leading non-customer-facing operations, the full-time Head of Risk Operations will manage fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and back-office compliance while overseeing a team and driving automation strategies in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own all non-customer-facing operations, ensuring effective management of fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and processing workloads
- Set goals, SLAs, and quality standards for the function, while serving as the executive voice for Risk operations
- Define and drive the automation roadmap to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual review workloads
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in fraud, disputes, and risk operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Deep knowledge of consumer protection regulations, including FCRA, Reg Z, and Reg E
- Proven track record in building and scaling operations through process improvement and automation
- Strong understanding of fraud typologies across various payment methods
- Experience collaborating with Compliance, Legal, Product, and Engineering teams
